On a crisp fall day, devouring oysters fresh off of the grill, cold beer or a delightful glass of wine, a delicious barbecue lunch with all of the southern sides, live music, and a display of gorgeous British cars, all on 35 beautiful acres of Historic Battersea, a 1768 Neo-Palladian Villa surrounded by trees older than the house. Every year this event grows larger, so call your friends, make your plans, and get your tickets in advance – no tickets at the door. There are tables and chairs, but you can bring lawn chairs or a blanket. The house will be open for “must-see” tours. If it’s been a couple of years, your jaw will drop, and you will not believe the interior rooms now with beautiful antiques, rugs, and the wonderful work on the upstairs rooms (since last year!)
