The Parking Lot for this guided tour will be at 6476 Church Road, Petersburg, VA 23803. Following the Confederate repulse at Fort Stedman east of Petersburg on March 25, 1865, the Army of the Potomac’s VI Corps attacked the picket lines of A. P. Hill’s Corps at the Robert H. Jones Farm later in the day. This action set the stage for the final breakthrough on April 2, 1865. Come and learn about the consequences of this battle for both sides.
