This summer the Urban Archaeology Corps interns at Petersburg National Battlefield created art pieces reflective of the lives of the enslaved community at Whitehill Plantation as they worked in excavation, oral history, and public archaeology. This exhibition is hosted by Petersburg National Battlefield and the Ibe’ Arts Institute at a new bookstore in Old Towne Petersburg.
