A new year of the Civil War Roundtable Speaker Series kicks off tonight with Robert Garnett who will share the story of “Victims for the Grave: Elmira Prison Camp and the Confederate Dead of Woodlawn National Cemetery. Mr. Garnett is a descendant of Corporal Henry Gwynn of the 26th VA Infantry who perished at Elmira.
The Roundtable meets monthly, September – May on the first Thursday evening at 7 pm.
