On this Breakthrough Anniversary, you will walk the route of the Union Army of the Potomac’s VI Corps’ assault on the Confederate earthworks defended by Brig. General James Lane’s North Carolina Confederates. This special experience on the actual battlefield will bring the conflict & personalities alive. This 2-hour tour will involve approx. 1.5 miles of walking. The tour begins at the Jones Farm parking area at 6503 Church Road, in North Dinwiddie, 23803. The tour is free with Park admission but reservations & prepayment are required. Limited to 45 participants.
