Join us on a SUNSET WALKING TOUR – a free & family-friendly program discussing historic places and events related to the Petersburg Campaign of the Civil War.

The supply depot at City Point was the driving force behind the 9 1/2 month Petersburg Campaign. It served as a center of technology and innovation as well. Explore City Point through a S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) lens.

All programs are free and open to the public. Programs are 60-90 minutes and require a small amount of walking. Drinking water and comfortable shoes are recommended. All programs are subject to cancellation due to weather or other issues. Check Petersburg National Battlefield’s Facebook page for updates (@PetersburgNPS). For more information please call (804) 732-3531. Petersburg National Battlefield and Petersburg Battlefields Foundation are partnering for a fifth year to offer these tours once a month between May and August.
