Come and see “Harriet” and “Find the Harriet Within You! You are going to see very familiar scenes as portions of the movie were filmed in Petersburg. After the movie (1pm – 3:05pm), there will be a workshop, Finding the Harriet Within You, led by Morgan Avery McCoy, from 3:30pm – 4:30pm. There will be a food vendors and clothing vendors too. There will be activities in the Library’s Children’s Department for young children so that you can enjoy the movie and workshop. And, it is all FREE except for what you may purchase from vendors. If you have not seen Harriet, here is an opportunity to see it with friends. There is plenty of parking in the lot behind the library.
