Presented by Friends of the Lower Appomattox River

Discover the natural beauty of Appomattox River Regional Park on a guided trail walk with FOLAR Board Member, Susan Watson, a Wildlife Information Biologist with the VA Dept. of Wildlife Resources, and FOLAR Regional Trails Program Director, Heather Barrar. You will learn about the incredible tree species here, local critters and, of course, the Appomattox River. Trail walk is child-friendly, approximately one mile with moderate physical activity, and lasts one hour. $10 per person. Your donation supports FOLAR’s work to develop the regional 25-mile Appomattox River Trail, to positively impact public health, environmental conservation, safety, and community prosperity for all. FOLAR is offering these two guided trail walks as part of the first Hopewell/Prince George Restaurant Week, “Take it to the Trail!”, which runs from June 5 to June 11, to benefit FOLAR!
