Author Nancy Hale discusses Union chaplains and shares eyewitness stories from Gettysburg and other battles, including the story of the only woman to serve as a chaplain during the war. Her book will be available for purchase.
1:00 p.m. — Faith on the Lines
Learn about religion during the Petersburg Campaign, the Christian Commission at City Point, wartime relief organizations, and the creation of nearby cemeteries such as Blandford and Poplar Grove.
