Presented by Swift Creek Mill Theatre

The Latin Ballet of Virginia brings a family evening of culture, dance and song to Swift Creek Mill. Translated, El Dia do los Muertos means Day of the Dead and this ballet is based upon the Mexican holiday which celebrates the coming together of family and friends to honor loved ones who have passed. It is an Aztec ritual that started over 3,000 years ago and is a festive interaction that embraces the cycles of life. The performance is at 7pm; however, reservations for dinner are available at 5pm for an additional $11. In addition to this evening family performance, there will be morning performances for class field trips during October 21 – 25 at 10:15am.
