The Topic tonight is “Attack at Daylight and Whip Them: The Battle of Shiloh, April 6-7, 1862. Author & historian Greg Mertz will be focusing on The Battle of Shiloh, which began on April 6, 1862 at daybreak against an unprepared Union force under General Ulysses S. Grant. Mr. Mertz has spent nearly four decades at Shiloh National Battlefield Park, as well as the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park.
