Ever since the war ended, anxious Cavalrymen have returned to Centre Hill on the night of January 24 at 7:20 pm. They ride their horses, leave them on the front lawn and climb the steps and proceed in through the front door. Three go up the stairs to the General’s office, sabres rattling as they climb. They meet for @ 20 min., then back down they come, out of the front door they go and gallop away. During your visit there will be recordings from a ghost hunters group that you will hear. You will visit parts of the house not open on any other day. Also, watch the upstairs window or be alert in the library as the “Lady in White” is often present also. Tours begin every 20 minutes.
Be aware that this tour involves several sets of stairs. Limited parking is located behind the house, or you may park in a lot across Adams or on Franklin Streets.
Tickets available on Eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/centre-hill-ghost-watch-tickets-488991305157?aff=ebdssbcitybrowse), or at the Blandford Church Reception Center on Thurs – Sunday. Tickets are timed for every 20 minutes.
