The October Roundtable will feature local historian Kenneth Bage, who will present Relics Reunited: The Story of LTC Richard S. Thompson. Thompson served in the 12th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry as part of the II Corps in the Army of the Potomac. The 12th New Jersey Infantry was present in both Petersburg and Appomattox. The Civil War Roundtable meets on the first Wednesday of every month except June, July & August.
Mr. Bage is a graduate of Colonial Heights High School and retired from police work in both Petersburg and Hopewell.
