Make plans to head to Old Towne Petersburg for “Friday for the Arts!” on Friday, May 10th. Come on down for dinner at one of Old Towne Petersburg’s over two dozen eateries, or bring a picnic basket dinner to enjoy in our adjacent Art Park, then head over to Petersburg Area Art League to see the opening of the Annual Spring and Senior Art Show presented by The Appomattox Regional Governor’s School for the Arts and Technology.
The exhibit will feature over 150 works of art. A student musical quartet will be adding to the atmosphere.
Petersburg Area Art League is located at 7 E. Old Street in the heart of Old Towne Petersburg. If you can’t make it for the opening night, you can still catch it during the gallery open hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 AM – 05:00 PM and on Sundays, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM. The exhibit runs through May 29th.
