Presented by Pamplin Historical Park

This living history event will bring to life the experiences of fighting the Pacific Theater, as well as what life was like on the homefront during World War II. These living historians will be portraying soldiers and sharing many different aspects of a soldier’s life: weapons, signals & communications, tactical demonstrations, from the perspectives of Army soldiers, Marines, as well as British & Russian allies. There will also be programs about the homefront, USO activities stateside, demonstrations about medical care, cooking, weapons, uniforms and civilian fashions of the day. There will be a special Tactical Demonstration in the afternoon. All of this will be included in Pamplin’s regular paid admission.
