The Perfect Picks Flower Farm is a PICK-YOUR-OWN or U-PICK Flower Farm that is open seasonally. Bloom time is ultimately determined by Mother Nature, beginning in mid-June through September.

The farm has a variety of cut flowers that are ever-changing throughout the season.  Customers are asked to bring their own bucket (5-gallon or smaller) and clippers/ scissors. A small-size bathroom trash can from the dollar store is a great option to bring for your flowers.

Hours will be posted weekly according to the weather forecast. Typically, the farm is open in the late afternoons and weekend days/evenings.

]]> Reconnect with the great outdoors on this beautiful property that is great for wildlife viewing taking you through marshes and hardwood forests. Every day the Powell Creek Trail is open from sunrise to sunset offering up 1.5 miles that meanders along freshwater marshes and tidally influenced creeks. You will see beautiful flowers, bald eagles, osprey, great blue herons, mammals, amphibians and invertebrates. There are also observation platforms and interpretive signs.

You will need to call the office for hunting or canoeing/kayaking permits. There are white-tailed deer hunting seasons for archery, muzzleloaders and shotguns by permit.

Guided canoe tours are offered in the spring and fall and the Great Backyard Bird Count is held in February.

Tree Time Adventures features four obstacle courses with over 60 elements, with levels from beginners to advanced. There are 8 zip lines and an outdoor trail for walkers. Courses can be enjoyed by the entire family. Five-point harnesses are used to provide extra security.

Activities are geared so families and individuals will feel better after experiencing Tree Time. Once you feel how you can move through the tree tops, you’ll be hooked. Our passion for fitness is based on a passion for living life to its fullest!

Children must be at least 3 years old to participate, and everyone must sign a waiver.

Sitting on 138 acres in Prince George is a new aerial obstacle course called Tree Time Adventures.

“We have three different obstacle courses just over 45 elements for you to climb through,” Tree Time Adventures vice president Lesly Pike said.

The course features three levels from intermediate to advanced so that everyone in the family can participate.

“Anybody of all ages all-athlete abilities, everyone can go through those and have a good time,” Pike said.

Even if you slip or get choked up on heights, the harnesses you’re required to wear are built for worst-case scenarios.

“We utilize a five-point harness instead of a three-point for that extra security,” Pike said.
