Experience history come alive as the “Revolutionary War Comes to Petersburg” on May 13, 2023! Join us at Blandford Church & Cemetery from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, for engaging and educational programming. Historian Mike Cecere will lead an interactive Battle of Petersburg presentation, and you’ll have the opportunity to meet and talk with the infamous Benedict Arnold. Plus, hear firsthand from Lieutenant Colonel Dave Reith, British Army Liaison Officer to Fort Lee, about the events that took place during the American Revolution. Witness a wreath-laying ceremony in honor of Major General Phillips, conducted by the British Honor Guard. All events are free.
