Today recognizes the enormous significance of the U. S. Medal of Honor and there will be a display of Medals of Honor and a lecture about the evolution of these Medals presented by the U. S. Army Museums. Additionally, there will be a special Breakthrough Battlefield Tour featuring actions of Medal of Honor recipients from the morning of April 2, 1865.
