Don’t let the location fool you, this place is well worth a visit. Attached to a Gas Station just off I-95, you walk in and feel immediately like you are visiting someone’s home. A café setting with red and white checkered tablecloths and curtains, with pictures and trinkets to remind you that this place is definitely German, you are greeted warmly and given a menu full of classic dishes. Owner, Irene Williams is originally from Germany and is the one at the stove cooking your Schnitzel, Sauerbraten, Goulash or Bratwurst. Sides include classic potato salad, red cabbage, spaetzle and home fried potatoes. To accompany your meal, enjoy a German beer or glass of wine. You are highly likely to chat with the owner as she makes her way around the tables. The food is authentic and delicious. Don’t miss out on the desserts! All homemade and out of this world. Wunderbar!
